Sri Veeramani Raju with the blessing of his Guru Sri K.Veeramani joined the music troupe in the year 1971 and performed lot of devotional music programmes along with Sri.K.Veeramani. This gave lot of strength to Sri Veeramani Raju when he started giving stage performances independently. Sri Veeramani Raju has inherited all qualities of Kalaimamani Sri.K. Veeramani due to the advantage of long association with him. His first stage performance was during 1975, many more programmes have followed and Sri Veeramnai Raju has given performances in almost all major temples across the country.
